Article Writing & Marketing – Effective Article Marketing Strategies

Article marketing is by far the best free method of promoting your business and increasing your sales and opt in subscribers.  When you submit your articles to article directories, article announcement lists, and ezine publishers, you achieve several things.

• You begin to establish yourself as an expert in your field. Readers are more inclined to listen to you when they think you know what you’re talking about.
• The resource box at the end of your article has at least one link to your website. If you’ve written an informative article, they are more likely click on your link to see what you have to offer.
• You increase your search engine page rank when you have many one way links to your website. Search engines give extra weight to non-reciprocal links from high ranking websites.

If you are not comfortable writing your own articles. You could use private label articles to help you get started.There are a number of people offering PLR articles and some are much better than others.

If you need articles quickly it’s worth tracking down a good source of articles written by people with English as their first language. I’ve seen some awful articles that would take you longer to rewrite than it would take you to write your own articles starting from scratch!

If you can find a source of quality PLR articles relevant to your niche be sure to use them correctly, if you do you will have a big advantage over other marketers. Proper use of PLR will reward you with more traffic, increased sales, and more opt in subscribers.

But, whatever you do, don’t make the mistake of getting lazy. It is a big mistake to simply copy and paste the articles and submit them to directories or use them on your blog with no personalisation.

• Always change the title
• Re-word things so that it sound like you
• Re-order some of the material and add snippets of your own
• Make the article yours, put your stamp on it.

Article directories automatically search their database for duplicate content, if your article is the same as one they have on their database, yours will be rejected.

Private label articles are a great tool if you struggle to write your own articles or need a lot of articles quickly and haven’t time to write them all yourself from scratch.
