Posting articles to article directories helps to improve your search engine rankings and increase your visitor numbers. Here are some tips to help you keep on the good side of article directory owners
Follow the rules
Read the submission guidelines posted on the article directory site. These guidelines show you the steps you need to follow to get your article posted. Different directories have different requirements. Read the guidelines,follow them closely and your efforts will be rewarded.
Demonstrate your expertise
By writing extensively on a particular subject or similar subjects within a broader category, you become known as an expert. This often leads to having your articles accepted automatically. However, submitting articles on lots of very different topics might alert the article directory owner to the possibility that you are a spammer. If you want to submit articles on a wide variety of topics consider using different user names or a pen name if the rules allow. Alternatively, you could submit different topics to different directories.
If you are using PLR, re-write your articles
Don’t use articles straight from the article pack. Article directories always delete duplicate articles. Duplicate articles are always deleted from article directories. Article directories are looking for original content, make sure you give them what they’re looking for, become a trusted source.
Always submit quality articles
It’s worth the time and effort. When I’m looking for content, I look for particular authors who I know write good articles. Aim to be in that category and you’ll soon have lots of backlinks from all over the web.
If you’re in doubt about anything, ask the directory owner
It’s much easier to get the article right the first time than to spend time and effort rewriting or even being taken off the list of approved writers.
