Improve Your Search Engine Ranking With Keyword Strategy – Keywords Are Crucial To Success

This article writing and marketing blog is less than one month old. Yet, when I checked Google UK yesterday the blog was ranked number 8 for article writing and marketing.

This is no accident. When I planned the blog I did keyword research first. When I write each post I choose the title carefully and position keywords in the title and description.

That isn’t all I have done. Each day I’ve spent a few minutes commenting on a relevant post. Google likes incoming links. 

I haven’t done any article marketing for the blog yet. I’ve been waiting until the blog had some good content before driving traffic using article directories. That will be my next step, once I have an opt in box and a free giveaway.

Today I was speaking to someone who three months ago, had hardly any search engine traffic.     I’m posting regularly to the blog.

    I’m leaving comments on blogs, leaving a link back to my blog and so getting more links to my blog every day.

    I’m making sure that titles and descriptions have keywords.

    My categories have the main keywords

    I have an SEO pack installed on my blog and make sure that every post has a search engine friendly title and description.

    Anybody can do this if they follow the guidelines. I’m only doing what I outlined in my book.

    Blogs tend to climb more quickly than websites because they’re spidered more often.

    Why not set yourself a challenge and see if you can do the same?

  9. I am in the process of using Lynne’s book. It is so comprehensive and easy to understand for technophobes like me, it is like easy reading. Lynne explains from start to finish how to do everything, including giving you resources. It is my new year resolution to follow the book from beginning to end, at my own pace and understanding. How can you say an SEO book is good reading, you can in this instance :)
