Internet marketing isn’t for the faint hearted, there is a lot to learn. Building websites, learning search engine optimization, email delivery, autoresponders and that’s only part of the process. Before you even start, you need to identify your niche and make sure there is money to be made there. Then comes researching your market and discovering what they actually need.
Just when you think you have it all figured out, along comes another indispensable tool or system. So you make some adjustments, read another ebook and watch another 20 hours of high powered video. Inspire, you go back to the drawing board and rewrite your blueprint. You turn on your computer and check your emails. There are 37 emails all heralding the latest and greatest in internet marketing.
Spy on your opposition, buy these private label rights ebooks and remember to listen in to the latest over hyped teleconference with self proclaimed gurus thinly disguising mutual backslapping, selling some over priced “how to” book that is probably a rehash of what you learned two or three months ago.
Have you ever wondered if this is a clever plan by the successful marketers to confuse would be marketers. It probaly isn’t, but it does sow seeds of confusion into the minds of unfocused people.
Your email inbox is a major distraction to taking action and achieving success in internet marketing. Can I suggest that you limit the amount of email you read. Go through your list of emails and unsubscribe from those that just try to sell you without adding any value.. Be ruthless and just retain your best newsletters. The offers will still be there when you’re ready for them, in the nmeantime cut out the distractions. The truth is that they have distracted you and robbed you of hours of your time.
It is time to focus and select the aspects of internet marketing that you enjoy. Concentrate on one thing, get it going properly and then move on the next natural step. Follow your blueprint and focus on that. You don’t need to tune out evceryhting but you do ned to remove distractions and focus so that you can be successful.
Concentrate and focus on achieving your goals and making some money. Join a good mentoring program if it will help with where you are now, but stop hopping from one thing to the other. Be single minded and focus. When you have achieved your initial goals and have things running smoothly, then you can consider ways to improve and fine tune your business.
So, can I recommend that you decide what’s the most important thing to complete right now and focus on it until it’s done.
